Overview
Ground State Mood is designed with privacy as the foundation. We do not collect, store, or transmit your personal data to any server.
This app works entirely offline, does not require an account or registration, and has no hidden subscriptions.
Data We Store
Ground State Mood stores the following information locally on your device:
- Mood entries: Your selected mood (Joy, Calm, Ok, Low, Anxious or Angry), any optional note you choose to add, and the timestamp of each entry.
- App preferences: Settings like date format preferences and display options.
All of this data is stored only on your device using local storage. We have no access to it.
Data Sharing
We do not share your data with anyone because we do not collect it.
The only time your data leaves your device is when you choose to export it:
- You can export your mood history as a CSV file or via clipboard
- You control where you send or save this exported data
- We do not receive a copy of any exported data
Third-Party Services
Ground State Mood does not use any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services.
The app does not connect to the internet for any functionality.
Data Security
Your data security depends on your device's security:
- Use a strong passcode or biometric lock on your device
- Keep your device's operating system up to date
- Be cautious when exporting and sharing your data
Data Deletion
You can delete your data at any time from within the app.
- Go to Settings → Clear all data
- This permanently removes all mood entries, notes, and app preferences stored on your device
- Ground State Mood does not store your mood data on external servers, so there is no server-side copy to delete
